Golf, Polar Plunge and Pig Pickin’
Here is a pictorial collage set to music recapping the New Year’s Day 9 hole scramble.
We had 18 four-person teams sign-up to play. We sent the out in pairs (yes…eightsomes!) to promote the social aspects of the club. Everyone had a blast AND even managed to finish BEFORE the sun went down.
The top three teams were paid out in the gross and net divisions. You’ll have to watch the video to see who the victors are.
Golf wasn’t the only activity going on at “The Club”, either. Approximately 90-100 people came out for the late morning “Polar Plunge” at the pool. As near as we could tell, about half of them braved the chilly water and did “the plunge.” The cheers from the spectators were loud…but not as loud as the shrieks from the participants when they came up for air!!
To round out the day, the clubhouse and back patio was filled to capacity with members and Pine Forest neighbors that came out to socialize, enjoy some bar-b-que, and watch some football games. It was great to see all of the activity and smiling faces at The Club!
Let’s do it again, SOON!
This “dark horse” team surprised everyone. Watch the video to see how!
